Boxcar Print by VisuaLingual

This four-color boxcar serigraph on chipboard was actually first shown in PLACEMADE, our exhibit this past summer at MiCA 12/v in Over-the-Rhine, but it’s only now made its way into our online shop. Who doesn’t love trains?

  1. Maya, this is a beautiful thing. Andy Warhol meets Pullman Standard. Wow. Please generate more train prints at your earliest convenience. Check out http://www.steamlocomotive.com, or http://www.steamfreightcars.com for inspiration.

FYI, from a purely commercial standpoint, cabooses usually sell better than freight cars. Probably because class 1 carriers rarely use them anymore, but people are still fond of them. Cabooses are comforting. Or, if you prefer, cabeese.

  2. Thanks, David! This is really Michael’s print; I just helped him with it. You’re right about a caboose print and, in fact, that’s in the queue right now. You gotta give the people what they want, right?
