Tryon Farm is a truly special place. If you are inspired by the beauty of nature, the details of architecture, or the warmth of community – Tryon Farm offers all that and more. No wonder it captured our hearts and creative energies while residing there during October 2015.
From the beginning, VisuaLingual has resisted the tendency to limit its creative outcomes, and true to that inception, it continues to evolve. What started as a loose design practice somehow pivoted into an explosive seed bomb business almost 8 years ago. Both aspects of the business continue to be important, but as with all things and people, the evolutions continue.

Well, the start of it at least. Over the next few weeks we’re going to share a series of gift guides for all variety of gift giving. Hopefully a few of the items on our lists are perfect for someone you’re shopping for, or maybe its just the perfect gift to give yourself. Some of these items are definitely on our wish list.
To start it off here are a few gifts for the beer drinker in your life or the host who you know appreciates a good brew.
When San Francisco-based retailer The Urban Deer asked about adding private label fatwood and fatdust to its outdoor-focused assortment, we were thrilled to oblige! The shop’s clean aesthetic dovetails nicely with ours, and the packaging turned out great, if I say so myself.

Over the past few years, we’ve become known for our personalized seed bomb favors, which are popular for summertime weddings and other celebrations. Every once in a while, we get a request just for screenprinted pouches — in this case, adapting the couple’s monogram from their wedding invitation. You can fill these muslin pouches with candy, soap, or any small keepsake. We love these kinds of custom projects; contact us to discuss details!

We moved from Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati to Brookside, Indianapolis just over a month ago, and we’re still in the midst of setting up our new production space, but that hasn’t stopped us from working on awesome projects for great clients like a line of private label seed bombs for the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe.
