First, Le Corbusier’s Villa Savoye got the LEGO treatment, and now Mies van der Rohe’s Farnsworth House is rendered in gingerbread [plus tons of fondant, poured sugar and sugar paste]. As I mentioned back in September, the structure was seriously damaged in a massive flood. If you pony up $4,320 for the gingerbread version, April Reed Cake Design will donate 15% to restoration efforts. Of course, if you really want to be helpful, just give your $4,320 to Landmarks Illinois. Duh…
