The Woodward in Over-the-Rhine

The Woodward in Over-the-Rhine

The Woodward at 14th and Main Sts. in Over-the-Rhine is a fairly small but very ornate corner building, which now houses Greg’s Antiques. If you look carefully, you can see the ghost sign for Atlas Furniture.

  1. I love this building. I do wish that they actually had business hours and weren’t appointment only. I feel like thats kind of the bane of Main St. right now, that there aren’t many places with consistent hours.

  2. The consistent hours issue is very real and that is why it is so nice that the new Vine Street merchants realize this and keep regular common hours.

  3. Agreed on the consistent hours comments. Also love this building! Its really awesome looking inside too. It has this giant stage area and huge grand staircase with a balcony looking over it all.
Did you know that building was used in a movie a long time ago? I can’t remember the name right now…

  4. I’d love to know the title of that movie. I just recently heard that “Little Man Tate” was partly shot at 12th and Vine, so it’s on my list of movies to rewatch.
