The Ghettopia mural is on Main St. in Over-the-Rhine. The name of this mural, suggesting a ghetto utopia, bothers me, but maybe that’s just because I don’t understand the moment in time when it was painted, since it preceded my living in Cincinnati. Nonetheless, I love the way the painted architecture interacts with the building it’s painted on and with the surrounding structures.
