Ben Aronson grew up in Sudbury, MA and studied Painting at Boston University. After receiving his MFA, he traveled through Europe and also worked for a time as an architectural illustrator.
Aronson’s more recent impasto paintings have been compared to the social realism of Edward Hopper, but I’m biased toward cities and prefer his urban landscapes, a selection of which is shown here.
For more examples of Aronson’s work, take a look at his site and the Tibor de Nagy Gallery, which represents him.
