Broadway Junction is a transfer point situated on the border of Bed-Stuy and East New York. The elevated station has long hallways and escalators, which are well-served by the stained glass panels:

Al Loving was an abstract painter and collage artist, born in Detroit and later based in NYC. He was the first African American artist to have a solo exhibit at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Loving passed away in 2005.
