I’m completely honored to be included in The Cincinnati Anthology, a just-published book containing writing and images by tons of talented Cincinnatians and transplants. You can order your own copy and, if you’re in Cincinnati, plan to attend the launch events!
Tonight, 7-9pm, the Mercantile Library downtown will host Hear: The Cincinnati Anthology Literary Gathering, featuring readings from the book.
See: The Cincinnati Anthology Gallery Show is having an opening reception this Sunday, 2-5pm at Engine 22, 216 West 15th St. in Over-the-Rhine. This exhibit will bring together work by the artists, photographers and designers featured in the book.
To whet your appetite, here is an excerpt from the introduction by Zan McQuade, who initiated this project and served as the book’s editor. If you’re curious, the talented Chris Glass of Wire & Twine designed the book, which includes contributions by Cedric Michael Cox, Jenny Ustick, Nick Dewald, Katie Laur, and many others.
