Cinti: this shortened version of Cincinnati probably isn’t weird to people who grew up here, but it always strikes me as quaint and charming. The ghost sign for Bruce Boles Furniture Co. is located in Over-the-Rhine, on Elm St. just north of Liberty.

Yeah. Drove past yesterday, and there it was. I had seen it before, but in my “snobbery” didn’t pay it much attention. (I’m only recently looking for things other than the great big painted ones.)
‘Hidden in plain sight’ is definitely the way to describe some of these whispers from the past.
