the smaller buildings in front of it are very unique
You’re right! They look like the top two floors of narrow old townhouses. There are several rows/blocks of them throughout Cincinnati.
Those buildings with the trapezoidal or parallelogram footprints just kill me. Especially when they’re on a hillside, you feel that they once had four 90 degree corners, then began shifting.
They’re definitely odd, but kind of cute.
