Edison Theatre Ghost Sign in Fort Myers

Edison Theatre Ghost Sign in Fort Meyers

Built in 1941, the old Edison Theatre is located on the corner of Hendry and Main Sts. in downtown Fort Myers. This Art Deco confection now houses offices, but I’m glad that the façade has remained intact.

According to this source, the 1985 version of Day of the Dead used the Edison Theatre as one of its shooting locations. I’m not one for zombie films, so can someone else please verify this?

  1. I saw Day of the Dead, when I was in high school, and while I don’t remember much, I do remember pink stucco.
