Moscow-based Maria Zaikina has created a series entitled Landschaft Mit Haus, or Landscape With House. Using only flat color and the same basic composition, she has created a visual rhythm with great variety across the series.
The series is inspired by Alice in the Cities by Wim Wenders, and each image can be understood as a single frame from a road movie, endlessly repeating, yet always different.

Great homage to Malevich, but why did she need to make it so Warholian-repetitive? 😉
Hmm, if you understand the images as stills from the same film sequence, they can’t be that different from each other.
