wow, I kinda thought Bakshi was dead. He was on fire there for awhile. Now that everybody does animation in 3D, I wonder how people will like this new venture. Since the audience will be older it’s probably got a chance. Still, Rob Zombie’s 2D cartoon didn’t do too well (of course, It wasn’t very good, either).
Nope, he’s still kicking! I personally tend to dislike all the recent animation trends, so I’m all for anything that doesn’t look like that [aside from the Coney Island angle, which obviously interests me as well].
As for Rob Zombie, are you referring to The Haunted World of El Superbeasto? I haven’t seen it, but it sounds kind of interesting, and I have a soft spot for him dating all the way back to high school!
