Really, the only reason I would ever want to own my own house would be to be able to wallpaper the walls. Check out Metropolis by Sandberg Tyg & Tapet, a manufacturer based in Ulricehamn, Sweden that calls itself “the world’s slowest wallpaper factory.” This pattern couldn’t possibly be more me.

Love this! Reminds me a little bit of Riga as well (this is where I am from). I think this would look great if put on one side of the room, while other walls are left white.
From the photos I’ve seen, you’re absolutely correct about the resemblance to Riga. It seems like a really beautiful city, and I hope to travel there at some point.
