This intimately scaled mural for the Peaslee Neighborhood Center at 14th and Sycamore Sts. in Over-the-Rhine was recently completed by Emily Storch and a team of ArtWorks apprentices.
The mural is located on the corner of this former school and promotes the new community garden and compost site at the center. It includes images of drumming, learning, children, and a mother and child, all of which reflect aspects of the center’s mission and programming.
Thi might be the smallest ArtWorks mural I’ve seen, but it’s perfect for its location, and the low site really reaches out to children, who are the primary focus of Peaslee.
So charming! Thanks so sharing these photos.
It’s a sweet little mural, and a great addition to our neighborhood. I’m glad you like it!
