Glass Garden is an installation of approximately 100 potted glass flowers currently on view at Gallery One One inside Brazee Street Studios in the Oakley neighborhood of Cincinnati. Is it just me, or do these look like lollipops?
The fused glass flowers were created during free art sessions this summer by artists aged 3-18 and are on sale for $10 each. The unsold flowers will be permanently installed in the garden behind the Studios.
Color me jealous that these kids got to make glass flowers! Glass is an artform that really fascinates me, though I will probably never try my hand at it because A. it’s expensive, and B. I’m likely to hurt myself. Anyway, lucky kids! Their work is on display at Brazee Street Studios through 2 Sep.
