You know what’s great about hitting up a big event like Final Friday in Over-the-Rhine or Crafty Supermarket in Northside? They bring together massive talent, so it’s a chance to discover some new folks who make really cool work! That’s how I came across these awesome ceramics by Bellevue, KY-based Sarah Horn at City Flea downtown last Saturday.
Above is Sarah’s city bowl [see more here]. Below are examples of her Cincinnati city tiles, including images of Music Hall, Union Terminal, the Contemporary Arts Center, and even a couple of ghost signs. Sarah even shares her process from photos to tiles.
We always love finding like-minded artists who share our appreciation for this area’s architecture, like Kevin Pogo Curtis, Alan Grizzell, Julie Lonneman, Cedric Michael Cox, Marcia Alscher, Courttney Cooper, and now Sarah Horn.
Gorgeous! I love these!
