If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you already know that I have a major soft spot for the historic Betts House in Cincinnati’s West End neighborhood. Its focus on programming that relates to the built environment is perfectly esoteric in the way that interests me. The current exhibit, up through 4 Aug 11, is entitled Style & Whimsy.
The group exhibit features work by students at St. Ursula Academy, a Catholic high school for girls in Cincinnati’s East Walnut Hills neighborhood. There are actually two parts — I photographed the ceramic houses but not the textual and visual research into domestic architectural styles.
The exhibit is up for a few more weeks, but check out the Betts House’s funky hours before you decide to go.
