  1. Well, it is a three-story building with ground-floor commercial and a backyard. When Jacobs bought it, the area was fairly undesirable, and who knows what shape the building was in. Now, Hudson St. is one of the more desirable pockets in the city. [Not that I can really defend NYC real estate prices.]
