Landscape Rugs by Liz Eeuwes

How amazing is this rug by Liz Eeuwes of Glasgow-based L E Design? The pattern is inspired by tulip fields, and the rug is made of hand-knotted, 100% New Zealand wool.

Above is a rug inspired by rice paddy terraces in Bali, and below is Strathmore, based on the Scottish countryside. If I were in a position to buy one of these rugs, I think it would have to be this one with its myriad green tones:

These rugs actually remind me a bit of some lovely quilts I’ve written about before, by Ian Hundley, Leah Evans, and Jimmy McBride. Via AT.

  1. I really want one of these rugs for my new home. they seem colorful and warm. the house will not be done till late spring so i guess I have some time to decide which one i want. they’re all beautiful!
