A Store on a Corner, But Not a Corner Store

Continuing on with my typological investigation of corner stores, this store, on the corner of 15th and Elm Sts. in Over-the-Rhine, is on a corner but does not seem to have been a corner store. It does seem like a perfect contender, though, doesn’t it?

UPDATE: I was wrong. Sweet P’s is, in fact, open for business, just at odd hours.

  1. Hmm, are you sure? It’s been closed every time I’ve walked by, on different days and at different times. Maybe it’s only open in the middle of the night — that’s the only time I haven’t walked by there.
