Razzle Dazzle in Oakley

Razzle Dazzle in Oakley

What have we here? This is a building in Oakley, on the corner of Brazee St. and Enyart Ave., right by the train tracks. It has been covered in what appears to be a Miami Vice-inspired version of razzle dazzle. Does anyone know anything about this?

  1. Interesting, great pic. I grew up in Oakley, and have not idea what this was or is. I drove past it today, and still can’t recall.
Found out it was built in 1948 and may now be home to HRS Studios.
Like a song without a title stuck in your head, I will be on the hunt to find out more.
    Thanks 😉

  2. Interesting, not all made objects are geometric; many designed forms have irregular organic contours. Although this building is geometric in its construction, the surface design is organic in form with a geometric merge. Like a Kimono!

    Nice concept in art.
