Now this is clever — “a contemporary tool in our communications driven, post-geographic world, KnoWhere makes it possible for far-flung peoples to think of one another as friends and neighbors.” The clock includes 8 blank hands to affix names of cities around the world or blank labels to write on with provided marker over an unusual world map filled with blue hearts. Designed by Peter Stathis with graphic by Susanna Dulkynis, it’s available at Velocity Art and Design in Seattle. Plus, I know Peter from when he was the chair of 3D Design at Cranbrook; he’s an astute critic and talented designer, so it’s great to see what he’s up to now.
