Josh MacPhee is an artist, curator, activist, author of Stencil Pirates, and co-author of Realizing the Impossible: Art Against Authority.
MacPhee is also the founder of Justseeds/Visual Resistance Artists’ Cooperative, a decentralized community of artists who have banded together to both sell their work online in a central location and to collaborate with and support each other and social movements. Formerly based in Chicago, he now lives in Brooklyn.
