OK, I was scratching my head over the farmers market at Washington Park. But now it kind of makes sense with it on Mondays.
Yeah, it’s a bit strange since it will be about halfway between the Fountain Square market [which is only on Tuesdays, I think] and Findlay [Tuesday-Sunday]. I guess you might need something specifically on Monday that you can’t get at the market on Main St., Vine St. Kroger, etc.
Washington Park programming is still a work in progress, so we’ll see how well this works out!
Just watched ‘The MC5 – A True Testimonial’. There’s some clips of the Detroit area from the late 60s & the film makers get a tour of modern Detroit from Brother Wayne. It gives an interesting look at a facet of the city.
I’ll have to check that out! If you haven’t seen 8 Mile, I recommend it as a pretty good movie and another interesting, more recent look at Detroit and its inner suburbs.
