Braden Wise created the project Good Day CA to commemorate moving to Lost Angeles from Eagan, MN. It’s a fun series of retro-styled postcard-style ephemera focused on maps, signage and tourist slogans.

Great set! Dunno if it’s the California Dreamin’ romance I have with SoCal, but there’s something about the particularly Cali style of signage from a certain era that just gets those endorphins a-flowin’.
Agreed! Although, old signs in the Midwest are nothing to sneeze at.
A pretty but trite campaign. I’m missing the “tale” promised by the first image.
I see it as a “tale” in images and found typography, without original writing or a conventional narrative, if that’s what you’re looking for.
