Mosstika Urban Greenery

Mosstika Urban Greenery

You don’t have to be a fan of street art to appreciate this… The Hungarian artists Edina Tokodi and Jozsef Valyi-Toth are Mosstika Urban Greenery, a Brooklyn-based collaborative that installs bits of moss graffiti in urban settings. I wonder how long these installations last.

  1. M,

    Very kewl find!
    Brooklyn rocks!

Back in my Crooklyn dayz, I used to hang with

an artist named Gene Pool. He grows grass on suits/cars/etc.

My Grass Suit coat is 1 my fave art pieces I own.

    Google Gene Pool artist!

btw….Gene Pool is originally from Dayton

  2. I Googled him, and whoa! You know, when I was in graduate school, I made a dress out of sod to and wore it to my own opening reception. It was a cool idea and looked interesting, but it weighed a ton and made me sore for days afterward.
