One of the store entryways on Hamilton Ave. in Northside, Cincinnati features this ghost tile. I love tile-created letters; they look pixellated. We’d like our own building just so we can put our names in the tiled entryway.

Educated at Goldsmiths College in London and now living in Amsterdam, designer Laura Amiss creates these lovely cityscapes out of textiles and creative stitching, using a palette that balances bright colors with muted tones. You can purchase Laura’s work in her Etsy shop.
