This ghost sign is on Main St. between 8th and 9th Sts. Are those three layers of signs? I think I see — illegible top left, “rugs” in the middle, and “baking co. general offices” in the lower right.

I love how the windows come through the sign. Also, I wonder if the three signs are progressively smaller due to regulations.

If that’s the case, it’s interesting that the largest [and oldest?] is the most prominent.

Check out the old “leather goods” sign on the east wall of 27 West 12th Street. The bldg is an old remodel for Tender Mercies, and somebody decided not to paint the old brick, say amen somebody.
